AT 9h30min the local guide will come take you Wander through the medina with its souks and alleys which are unchanged since the Middle Ages. the exploration of the fez medina include The tanners' quarter the blue gate Bab Boujlloud ,the vast Bou Inania medersa, with its cedar woodwork, its sculptured stucco and its marble and onyx decoration. AT 8H30 you will begin your ascent to the sahara desert across the plain of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most part of thE morning will be spent winding your way through the beautiful berber town as ifran wich means in berber caves and azrou ( means stone) the home towne of the cedre forests wehere we will stop to see the Barbarian apes, jagged rock faces,as you cross the estern part of the hight Atlas Mountains and begin ziz gorges ( moroccan grand canion ) to descend into erfoud the desert gate then heading across the barren land to the majestic erg chebi sand dunes.( erg chebi Erg Chebbi,it is the name of the sand dunes that defines the Merzouga sahara desert,) Depending on the lighting, the dunes that can be found in the Merzouga can be pink,gold, or red in color.arriving to hotel ..where your camel will be awaiting you. before you set off by camel You’ll get a welcoming glass of mint tea .then for a 2-hour trek out to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents.this could be optional if you would prefer to VE SHORT CAMEL TREK to see sunset and return to the hotel to sleep * extra 20 EURO*. diner and breakfast are included.
After sunrise, you will return by camel to the hotel, have breakfast and get your room where you will sleep at night, today there are two option if you like to relaxe by the pool having off-road trough the black desert around erg chebbi visiting two oasis of hassi lbbid and Merzouga, the nomadic tente, Khamlia village of black musicians, mines Mifiss, meeting the Bedouins Berbers in the desert, hunting for fossils at Tissardmine oasis. Arrival at the hostel around 3 pm ,to relax and watch the sunset over the dunes. and enjoying the silence of the desert. diner and breakfast are included.
After breakfast we leave the sahara desert and head out trough a deferante road to rissani the segund islamic city wich was buld in the north afric after kayrawan in tunisia, if time allows, you can visite the local market with a donkey park the area is famous for the million-year-old fossils.after thatyou head up to Erfoud you set out bettwin the High Atlas Mountains and anti atlas mountain on route to the Todra Gorges.we stop at Tinjedad for lunch at ksar elkhorbat this extraordinary ksar where you will get chance to see a local Berber cultural museum then to todra vallee you will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. You will spend the night in the Dades gorges.
After breakfast you set off to Marrakech via the dramatic atlas mountain range that splits this part of Morocco into two.
