Day 1 : Fès - Casablanca (Riad)
Arriving at Casablanca airport transfer to your accommodation at the ancient medina of fes passing by the administrative capital of morocco since the beginning of protectorate at 1912, Rabat, explore Chellah Garden that founded at 3rd Century B.C , Kasbah of the Udayas built during the reign of the almohads. the monotheists Hassan Tower, in all its force, is outlined against the sky, the remnants of a mosque conceived in the 12th century . On this very esplanade stands the Mohammed V mausoleum, a veritable little palace. Finely-crafted marble, bronze and painted woods under a mahogany dome perforated with stained glass form the case enclosing the royal tombs carved into a chiseled block of white onyx and resting on a slab of onyx and dark blue granite which shimmers like water. visit the archaeological museum: it presents the findings of excavations at several of the country’s archeological sites, notably Volubilis and Lixus (larache),continue to meknes the founder sultan Moulay Ismaël decided to make Meknes one of the most beautiful and powerful Imperial cities in Morocco, and protected it by around 40km of walls, it has preserved imposing monuments, as gates with beautiful sculpted canopies. several fountains, mosques, palaces, terraces and gardens.continue to fes the spiritual heart of morocco ,the Greatest imperial , The entire medina has been designated Unesco World Heritage of Humanity Site. Day 2 : Fès (Hotel)
AT 9h30min the local guide will come take you Wander through the medina with its souks and alleys which are unchanged since the Middle Ages. the exploration of the fez medina include The tanners' quarter the blue gate Bab Boujlloud ,the vast Bou Inania medersa, with its cedar woodwork, its sculptured stucco and its marble and onyx decoration. Admire the Tijani zaouïa (zaouïa, sanctuary of a religious brotherhood) and the instrument makers' souk before arriving at the mzara (shrine) the place where moulay idriss took the decision to build the town. -Nejjarine Square and the cabinetmakers' souk. The magnificent carved foundouk (caravanserai) on the square houses the Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts. The kissaria (covered market), where jewellery and fine fabrics are on sale ,Es-Seffarine Square, the coppersmith square, tanners', the old Dar Batha Palace whose Arabo-Andalusian style. The Moqri Palace houses treasures of a rare architectural refinement. After burning to many calories it s time to get out to the rampart tour driving to visit the palace gat Jewish courter and the borj (watching tower ) then to the pottery quarter. Back to your accommodation breakfast included.
Day 3 : fès - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Sahara desert (Hotel)
AT 8H30 you will begin your ascent to the sahara desert across the plain of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most part of thE morning will be spent winding your way through the beautiful berber town as ifran wich means in berber caves and azrou ( means stone) the home towne of the cedre forests wehere we will stop to see the Barbarian apes, jagged rock faces,as you cross the estern part of the hight Atlas Mountains and begin ziz gorges ( moroccan grand canion ) to descend into erfoud the desert gate then heading across the barren land to the majestic erg chebi sand dunes.( erg chebi Erg Chebbi,it is the name of the sand dunes that defines the Merzouga sahara desert,) Depending on the lighting, the dunes that can be found in the Merzouga can be pink,gold, or red in color.arriving to hotel ..where your camel will be awaiting you. before you set off by camel You’ll get a welcoming glass of mint tea .then for a 2-hour trek out to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents.this could be optional if you would prefer to VE SHORT CAMEL TREK to see sunset and return to the hotel to sleep * extra 20 EURO*. diner and breakfast are included.
Day 4 : Sahara desert (Berber tents)
After sunrise, you will return by camel to the hotel, have breakfast and get your room where you will sleep at night, today there are two option if you like to relaxe by the pool having off-road trough the black desert around erg chebbi visiting two oasis of hassi lbbid and Merzouga, the nomadic tente, Khamlia village of black musicians, mines Mifiss, meeting the Bedouins Berbers in the desert, hunting for fossils at Tissardmine oasis. Arrival at the hostel around 3 pm ,to relax and watch the sunset over the dunes. and enjoying the silence of the desert. diner and breakfast are included.
Day 5 : Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley (Hotel)
After breakfast we leave the sahara desert and head out trough a deferante road to rissani the segund islamic city wich was buld in the north afric after kayrawan in tunisia, if time allows, you can visite the local market with a donkey park the area is famous for the million-year-old fossils.after thatyou head up to Erfoud you set out bettwin the High Atlas Mountains and anti atlas mountain on route to the Todra Gorges.we stop at Tinjedad for lunch at ksar elkhorbat this extraordinary ksar where you will get chance to see a local Berber cultural museum then to todra vallee you will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. You will spend the night in the Dades gorges.
Day 6 : Dades Valley - Roses Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
After breakfast you set off to Marrakech via the dramatic atlas mountain range that splits this part of Morocco into two. At its highest vehicle passe in morocco, tizi n tichka, the Atlas reach 2265 meters (7,400ft). THE first big town it s kelaat m gouna rose capital You will visit one of distillation factory of the rose oil – have a break at ouarzazate to visit the museum of cinema or the studio atlas cooperation ,have lunch at ouarzazate ,then ascent up to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. this typical Moroccan fashion, Berber village which has been used as a very important destination for international filmmakers ,more than 24 films was also one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory,from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech th After an hour walk in the village , you will head over the mountains to Marrakech.the road winds up into the High Atlas,This amazing zigzag made by frensh colony betwen 1925 TO 1935, TO replace the ancient salt road connected Tombouctou to Marrakech.
